GAE files motion against Paulding County Schools

GAE has filed a motion for injunctive relief ordering Paulding County Schools to adopt and implement mandatory policies to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in the schools that they operate and manage. Specifically, GAE asks the Court for an order enjoining the School District to (1) require all students and staff at all schools in the Paulding County School District wear face coverings on school property; (2) require that at least 6 feet of distance be maintained between each member of the school community at all schools in the Paulding County while those persons are on school property; (3) require that all school administrators in the Paulding County enforce these measures and implement such changes to their physical facilities, instructional schedules, and methods of instruction as are necessary to ensure that six feet of distance can be maintained between each member of the school community while on school property.
