Set up booths with materials or items for display and distribution.
Encourage association members and community to attend local fairs.
Carry out activities as planned.
Encourage schools to start a fair if there is not one nearby.
Welcome Back to School:
Begin publicizing “Welcome Back to School” activities (PSAs, newspaper ads, radio spots, etc).
Send newsletter out to members with information on Back to School activities.
Send newsletter or flyer to parents informing them about Back to School activities.
Prepare materials and finalize plans for Back to School activities.
Planning for upcoming events:
Prepare/create/collaborate [with local radio] any appropriate PSAs.
Prepare letters and other communications to parents, community members, etc
Plan welcome back to school activities; begin planning for New Member Orientation [for those beginning in August].
