On June 30, 2023, the Supreme Court issued a decision striking down President Biden’s signature Student Debt Relief Plan, which would have cancelled up to $20,000 of federal student debt for more than 42 million borrowers. This decision came on top of news that student loan payments were set to begin in October for the first time in over three years.

Join NEA's student debt experts on July 13 at 7:00 pm ET to learn how you can get student loan forgiveness through Public Service Loan Forgiveness and to learn what you need to do to prepare for the resumption of payments in the fall.
