The Georgia Association of Educators Foundation, Inc. exists to provide enhanced educational opportunities for GAE members and public high school seniors. The GAE Foundation provides scholarships each year to
- members of the Georgia Association of Educators who are certified educators and enrolled in a college or university-accredited advanced degree education program majoring in teaching/education.
- members of the Georgia Association of Educators who are educational support professionals and are enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in teaching/education.
- members of the Georgia Association of Educators who are rising college juniors and seniors who are enrolled in a Georgia college or university-accredited education program majoring in teaching/education.
- high school seniors who have graduated or will graduate this academic year from a Georgia public high school and plan to attend a college or university in Georgia and major in education.

In addition, members of the Georgia Association of Educators who are actively teaching in the classroom or serving in a supporting educator position (e.g., counselor, social worker, media specialist) or as an educational support professional (ESP) in a Georgia public school are eligible to apply for a Best Practices grant.

The deadline to apply for a GAE Foundation scholarship or grant is March 31.
