Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, observed on the third Monday of January, is a federal holiday in the United States honoring the life and legacy of Dr. King, a prominent leader in the American Civil Rights Movement. It's also a National Day of Service, encouraging Americans to volunteer and improve their communities. The holiday serves as a reminder of King's message of equality, justice, and nonviolent resistance, and inspires people to engage in acts of service and reflection on these ideals. GAE offices are closed in observance.
