SINE DIE!! YOU DID IT!
The 2019 Georgia General Assembly came to an end with Gov. Kemp’s “downpayment of $3,000 for all certified educators passing and without new voucher legislation. Thanks to your calls, emails and letters to your local legislators, this session can be counted as a good one for public education. There were a few bills that passed of which we had concerns, but overall public education fared well. More details of final legislation are forthcoming. Keep and eye out for that and any post-assembly action requests.
